Here's how to do it:
- When you're in a stressful scenario and begin to hyperventilate and feel your heart pounding, begin by taking in a deep breath over a 4 count
- Hold it for a 4 count, and
- Exhale through pursed lips for a 4 count.
- Repeat until calm(er)
